ATI, Aero Trasporti Italiani, had just been launched as a subsidiary of Alitalia.

Two young pilots from the Netherlands travelled to their boss, Captain Mainetti’s, country house in Sorrento at his invitation.
Invited for lunch, and taking the lift past the cliffs, they reached the beach where they were introduced to his girlfriend.
